Modifying Statues

Joining two separate statues. The hand on the left side is approx 3/4in offset which will be corrected. First step is to temporarily hold the two halves together with wire

Both the arm and waist had to be sectioned on the left side to get the hands to align properly.

The gap between the legs has been filled.

Tabs are added to the back side so it can
mounted on a wall.

A layer of Hydrocal and fiberglass join the legs together

The sectioned places have been blended

Blending the connecting area between the hands. This was difficult due to the tight crevices and trying to keep from losing detail.
