This is not one of my best molds but it shows
almost anything can be repaired. This one had air bubbles and cracks

The negative mold is filled with Hydrocal to
create the positive. I also added a tinting powder to give it some color.

The pinkish areas are the original mold.
The white areas show the repairs

The Hydrocal has cured and the negative mold has been busted off. The debris at the left is typically what remains of a mold after casting it.

Here's the positive statue fresh out of the mold. It still needs some areas cleaned off and the edges smoothed up. The color will change slightly as the moisture dries out.
